What is Pemf?

PEMF stands for Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field, which is a non-invasive and painless healing therapy that re-energizes depleted or injured cells in the body. You can think of it as a whole body battery charger.

How does it work?

MagnaWave PEMF uses pulsating magnetic fields to jump start injured and run down cells. Large copper coils deliver magnetic energy up to 16 inches into the body, penetrating skin, muscle, tendon, and bone. PEMF makes cell membranes more permeable, allowing the uptake of more nutrients and oxygen, as well as increased elimination of toxins. This re-balances the cells and allows them to work more efficiently. Magnetic energy also stimulates the production of Nitric Oxide (NO), which is used by cells to make more ATP (cell fuel) to restore cellular health and normal function.

PEMF has an important effect on blood cells as well. When you are sick or tissue is inflamed, blood cells tend to clump together (Rouleaux effect). This leads to decreased circulation and less oxygen being delivered to your cells.
